Our story

Every great journey begins with a story. Ours is no different. Established in 2016, we embarked on a mission to provide the most incredible wedding flowers we could imagine. What started as a humble beginning has since grown and grown, thanks to hard work, dedication, and our amazing couples’ trust and vision for their incredible wedding days.

A bit about Katy

I have been creating flowers since my first Saturday job, age 15.
My flower arranging passion actually started age 5 when my aunt used to teach me flower arranging in her kitchen.
I started my floristry business journey at age 23 when I bought the florist shop I trained at.
I’ve won several business awards including the national everywoman Artemis award for women in business.
I was invited to a reception for Women in Business at Buckingham Palace where I met HRH Queen Elizabeth II, the now Queen Consort, Princess Anne and others in a private room of 10 guests which included Kath Kidston and Sharon Osbourne! I took the Queen a beautiful bouquet of flowers of course!
I sold my florist shop when we moved to Maldon in 2016 and decided to start Katy & Co to concentrate on my favourite aspects of floristry – Weddings, large Corporate Events and teaching.
I have 2 daughters, and one very fluffy dog!
I like to always be busy and hardly ever sit down, my Husband Rob is the exact opposite and might just be the most laid back human on the planet!
Although I mainly work in Essex, London, Herts and Kent, I have decorated weddings across the country.
